Be Aware…

Over recent years the Roaring Fork Valley and Garfield County at large have seen a remarkable amount of new growth and development. Although growth is a healthy sign for our community, many of the recent PUDs and proposals submitted to the county do not align with our local needs or even the long-term strategic goals established by the county. As a result, many groups of concerned citizens have begun to emerge with serious apprehension about the impacts of these misaligned developments. Poorly designed or implemented growth will threaten our natural resources, safety, and quality of life.

As a result of networking and reciprocal involvement, the Spring Valley Coalition would like to make its members and the public aware of some of the other groups and community efforts evolving.

It’s VERY IMPORTANT to be AWARE + INVOLVED
